I got this idea from the Facts of Life message board and I thought it was a good idea. If they had a new Andy Griffith show with all new people, who would play who? I won't name all the characters, but here's a few:

Andy: Bruce Willis
Opie: Macaulay Culkin
Aunt Bee: Rosie O'Donnell
Barney: Chris Elliot
Gomer: Jeff Foxworthy
Goober: Bill Engvall
Otis: John Goodman
Helen Crump: Demi Moore
Thelma Lou: Andie Macdowell

Steve Buscemi as Barney, without a doubt, except he's probably a little too old, now. Fargo and Big Lebowski era Buscemi, definitely.
