I'd say Kimberly and Mr D were alaways really close and of course Arnold and Willis.

i would say arnold and willis were the closest on the show
willis protected arnold all of the time, and arnold always looked up to him

Willis and Arnold - Willis always looked out for Arnold, he even risked his life defending him against those two bullies who harrassed Arnold for his lunch money.
