Christmas Tree Is Not A Lot on the 8 Epis. Disc

It's that time of year again to pull out the 8 episode DVD of Ozzie Christmas shows put out by oldies.com. My plan is to watch 3 episodes a week, 2 last week, 3 this and next week and then the day after Christmas watch the Day After Christmas episode. Which means there are 9 Ozzie Christmas shows the one missing from the oldies.com disc is "Piano for Fraternity" which is on the multi-disc Christmas set put out by Mill Creek called "Holiday TV Classics".

OK, this is all to say today I watched "Christmas Tree Lot" off of the Oldies disc and I noticed after it was over something missing. Then remembered it's Ozzie singing and I knew I had seen it before. Then I put in the "Holiday TV Classics" Mill Creek disc and played their version of "..Tree Lot" and sure enough Ozzie sings and also even Ricky has a 2nd song he does here but was cut out of the Oldies disc. Ricky sings his second song after they meet with Oz & Harriet and the boys want to leave with their new blind dates so Harriet suggests Ozzie get up and sing one while the boys go off with their new found honeys. Here's where the Oldies disc cuts out, you see Oz say that's a good idea but then cut right to the end of the show when poor Wally is stuck once again with that fatso who he got stuck with in the "Girl In The Emporium" episode, Mrs. Ziffel of all the dates to be stuck with! But if you watch the Mill Creek disc you see Oz sing right after Harriet says he should.

So for this episode at least it's best to choose the Mill Creek disc to watch it on.
