And yes, this is a joke. It's been quite a week so I need to have some fun.

I can't stand Jennifer Aniston, so I didn't watch this week's version. I didn't care for Kathryn Hahn in Crossing Jordan either.

I see what ya mean, but no, I meant the "classic" cast, i.e, the cafeteria cast. The ones that were mirrored in 2021.

I voted for "original cast", but when I say "original", I mean "original": Molly, Cindy, Sue Ann, Nancy, Natalie, Tootie, Blair, Mrs. Garrett, Mr. Bradley, and Miss Mahoney. I don't think adding Jo and subtracting half the cast was necessary, and feel as though the changes made were drastic, especially considering the improved ratings as the end of Season One and over the summer months. I do like the addition of Howard the Cook, and feel like the larger group of students and staff is closer to modern-day storytelling. Once freshman Tootie was involved in the planning of Eastland's graduation ceremony, it was clear they had whittled things back too far, and the school felt weirdly empty. The loss of the Lost Girls and the original staff made Eastland feel like a ghost town populated with just four girls. Once Season 5 started, the writers realized their mistake, and began introducing new characters, but the damage had already been done. If they ever do a true reboot of FOL, it needs to be of the full Eastland cast, not the Empty School Years, and not the Bakery Era, either.

Kathryn Hahn was so over the top as Jo. I love Jennifer Anniston, but she performed Blair so un-Blair-like. The others were okay, but they were no real replacements for the originals, and having Lisa on the set backfired, because then people could see the REAL Blair in action, making everyone else feel like cheap copies of The Original.

The set was gorgeous. The attention to detail on the uniforms was also lovely and wonderful. And the idea of a tribute was so much better than the execution itself.

So there have been 8 votes for neither cast?

(If I am reading the graph correctly).

Guess there's a bunch of FOL haters out there.
