What is the name of Opie's dog?

I don't remember Opie having a dog. The most I can find on the web is that he had a pet turtle named Wilford who is killed on the pilot episode.

In the first episode, Opie was saying his prayers and he asked that his dog "Gulliver" be blessed.

The only one I remember is the dog that followed him in Dogs, Dogs, Dogs episode that he wanted to keep, but it soon ran off. It happened to be one of the dogs that belonged to that old guy.

A while back, I bought a dog from a blacksmith. As soon as I got him home, he made a bolt for the door.
