So unfortunately, my Samsung Galaxy S6 decided to act up and the only thing that can be done is replace it or have my provider update it (it's 5 years old and warranty unfortunately expired). I've been trying several things to upload the SD card data onto my laptop (files, numbers, etc), but my laptop, a new Aspire 3 Intel Core 15, does not have a memory card slot nor do I have any adapters for it. I tried transferring from my phone to the laptop via the charger cable like I always have, but whether the phone is on or off, my laptop cannot read it, even though it says things are working fine. I'm not sure what caused my cell phone to act up, but it keeps rebooting itself and I cannot access anything past the main screen. It won't even stay on long enough to access my phone's settings or anything. Not sure what else to do at this moment, I want the photos and other documents moved onto my laptop.

They make "USB Hubs" that include card readers, check Best Buy or Office Depot.
