Default Spinoff better than its parent show

Can anyone name a Spinoff that is better than its parent show. I can think a few that is as good as the show it spunoff from. But the only show that I can say is clearly better is the Simpson (spinoff or the Tracy Ullman Show).

I just thought of a couple.

One of the first spinoffs, "The Honeymooners" a spinoff of "Your Shows of Shows". Also "Family Matters" a spinoff of "Perfect Strangers".

I wouldn't say it's better but The Jeffersons is a lot funnier than All in the Family.

I always liked Empty Nest better than the Golden Girls. I also like Good Times more than Maude.

Personally I find "Frasier" has surpassed "Cheers," but since I don't want to be bombarded with angry replies, I'll just do a little of this...

The only situation that comes to mind is The Jeffersons versus All in the Family. I find The Jeffersons to be a better show.

As a Cheers fanatic, I really can't argue with you. I love both shows, but I sometimes feel that Frasier has surpassed Cheers as well.

Okay...

Laverne & Shirley better than Happy Days

Good Times better than Maude

The Facts of Life better than Diff'rent Strokes

Young Americans better than Dawson's Creek

Degrassi: The Next Generation better than Degrassi Junior High/High

That's about it... I'm questioning if Lois & Clark was a spinoff or a remake of the '50s The Adventures of Superman

I think Frasier is a decent spinoff to Cheers, but is totally not as funny. Although it seems that it will last as long as it's pretacesor.

And facts of life is way better than different strokes. Just my opinion.
