Talking What is on your food Bucket List? 😀

On my food Bucket List is finishing a Banzai Brownie from Flannigan's. I have eaten the Banzai Brownie a couple of times, but I have never been able to finish an entire Banzai Brownie. A Banzai Brownie is a huge triple chocolate brownie, with two scoops of Edy's Vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, Kit Kats, Oreo pieces, chocolate drizzle. Yummy. But REALLY huge.

Here are pictures of the Banzai Brownie. Look how massive this thing is!

Boy, eating mass quantities of anything, is pretty much part of my past. I used to be able to go to all-you-can-eat buffets and put a serious dent in their balance sheet, but not anymore. Not everything about old age is "golden", I'm sorry to say.

But, I've had octopus, squid, alligator, rattlesnake, and jellyfish, and various forms of sushi that I'll no longer even confess to....so foodwise there is very little I have not tried.

If I had a food bucket wish list, included would be

Spaghetti and Meatballs and Sausage & Peppers

Prime Rib

Lobster and Shrimp

I have eaten all of these and I don't eat these very often any more...Inactivity keeps me putting less in my mouth.

The number one food/dish I would love to try (but never have) is Beef Wellington.

The name sounds exotic but I've had it and it's not a big deal.

For whatever reason, when I was a kid I desperately wanted to try Chicken a la King. It had such a great ring to it, Chicken a la King. I would see it on the menu at restaurants, Chicken a la King. Then finally I ordered it. And they brought me.... chicken with mushrooms. I hate mushrooms.

Chicken with mushrooms? I would be disappointed myself. I would have been expecting something more like a huge chicken with garlic aoili, with truffle butter, herbs and spices, glazed with an orange marmalade served with basmati rice.

Blazing from Buffalo Wild Wings is possibly on my bucket list... Blazin ironically might be a food that will send me straight to my bucket.... Blazin is one of THEE hottest Wings in the WORLD... You have to sign a WAIVER to eat this! When you have to sign a Waiver forsone Wings, you know that's some HOT STUFF.... Cue Donna Summer's Hot Stuff song. .

Apparently, Blazin has something like 1 million Scoville Heat Units. Scoville Heat Units is how spicy a food is. A Google Doodle explained in a cute Google Doodle some examples of Scoville Heat Units with an animated Scientist. The Animated Scientist eats a green pepper. He rates it something like,"Pretty mild, 1 Scoville Heat Unit. He eats a Jalepeno. He says something like,"Pleasantly spicy. 50 Scoville Heat Units." Cayenne Pepper. He rates it something like,"Getting into the feisty spicy. 100 Scoville Heat Units. "He eats a Habenero and rates it something like,"Holy crap! ER type of spicy! REALLY spicy. 500,000 Scoville Heat Units. "He eats a Ghost Pepper and FAINTS. He rates it something like,"1 Million Scoville Heat Units! . May kill! EXTREMELY spicy and DANGEROUS! Eat at own risk!"

The dish is pretty controversial due to how it’s made, has anyone ever had foie gras?
