Gotta Have Strokes
Hi PPL,
I'm new here...but like yourselves I am also a die-hard of DS. I was about 7 when I lived in the middle-east, there I saw DS for the first time. Arnold has always been my fav. with his 'Whachya talkin' about?' I taped a few tapes of some episodes at that time. And I used to watch 'em all the time. That part of my life was the best ever. When I came back to my own country I missed living in the middle-east and the only memories I had of my childhood were all those recorded programs from TV like Charles Incharge,DS, PS etc...and our home videos my dad used to make. However he died a few years ago.....and I missed my childhood even more but I had our home videos which was the only connection I had with those times....but I guess that wasnt meant to be for long. A year ago someone broke into our house and stole alotaa stuff including most of the programs and all home tapes. I could stand all other stuff being stolen but not my memories... Now I dont have any program or any tape that I recorded. Its like being stripped of my most cherished times. Now I cannot get shows like DS from anywhere around here....I know coz I have tried everything that I can...none of the tv channels show it. I need help from you guys....I need a good at heart person who can help recover my memories for me... Please I need a volunteer to give me a few episodes of DS.....well how if u think.....I have a solution to that.....I need somone who can get episodes of DS transferred on his PC and also has a fast net access at home...and most of all a person who has a big heart and who can understand what really this means to me. If anyone is willing and kind enough to help...please let me know... I guess that the Admin. might be thinking about deleting this post...but I request to cut me some slack. Sorry to hear you got your tapes stolen, I always think one of the worst things in the world is for someone to steal something from you.
I would offer to help but I doubt you could play British video tapes as very few Americans can, it does show on TNN everyday though. |

Didnt get ya...
Thanx for the reply dude...but actually I didnt understand what u meant by the fact that most Americans can't play British video tapes. Please do elaborate that. By the way I'm no way near America or England :-)
Secondly, I had something else in mind...regarding the help I was asking for....well to make it short, I was hoping that if someone could get some episodes captured on his/her computer....then I could download that using p2p software or something like that by converting it into more compressed format (coz I have lots of gr8 fully working softwares for such stuff.....which are very expensive in US or UK for that matter.) TNN??? No way.....theres no such thing as TNN here dude......as I said earlier I have tried everything else.....and this was the last resort... Anyway.....idea was not bad.....but I guess was asking for too much eh.........  ....Yours is a cool site by the way...... take care |
