Definitely the old stuff- I like pretty much all of her stuff up to about 1990. I only have a couple of songs that I like past that mark.

I definetely like all her old stuff. All the 80s tunes like Lucky Star and Borderline, Material Girl, Like A Prayer, Crazy For You and Live To Tell and the 90s tunes like I'll Remember, You'll See, This Used To Be My Playground and Rain. All her 80s tunes were the best of all the songs she's ever done.

Thumbs up

I've always liked Madonna's music. I have a great respect for her as an artist because she's always managed to stay one step ahead of everyone else in the business by constantly reinventing herself.
Although, having said that, I do definately prefer her older stuff. I'm a sucker for all things 80's so give me her 80's songs anyday.
I still like her more recent material.......but you can't beat the 80's!

*dances around*

OMG, I think if my parents heard that song, Material Girl, or Papa Don't Preach one more time they'll throw out my stereo. HAHA.

For example, I'm sittin at the table dancing, not singin, and my mom's like, "You can practically HEAR the music in your head."

Example 2, I came down the stairs after listenin to Papa Don't Preach at least 20 times and my dad's like, "Lauren, I have heard that song enuf to last my a lifetime. I didn't even like it when it came out!" So, what did I do? What any normal 13 year old girl would do...

I completely agree with everything you said Mossopp. Except I like her 80s and early 90s songs all about equally. I like late 90s-current least, but I still like it.

So what's everyone's favorite Madonna video? Mine is Just Like a Prayer. That's one of my favorite videos of all time.

And what do people think of Kelly Osbourne's remake of Papa Don't Preach? I think it's pretty good, only because that is an amazing song period, but of course nothing can top the original.
