Default Time travel

Past——go back, relive your greatest memories, reconnect with no longer with us loved ones, maybe attend classic moments in history

Future—— It’s all about the unknown, baby. See what’s in store for humanity, and maybe, just maybe, return to use that knowledge to benefit yourself

And none of that ruining the space-time continuum stuff. That doesn’t exist here.

I guess I'd say "the past". There are so many things I'd like to see from the past: What happened to the Roanoke Colony? Who wrote the Voynich Manuscript? Where is the Ark of the Covenant?

And there are so many mad things I'd have to try and stop: the senseless killing of the last Great Auks; the 1970s destruction of the BBC/Doctor Who and DuMont Network film and video archives; and the Cast Purge between Seasons 1 and 2 of The Facts of Life.

Just out of mild curiosity, how you accomplishing that one? Is this like a baby Hitler/baby Warren Littlefield type of thing?

I'd prefer a non-violent approach.

I suppose I'd have to infiltrate the writers' room, maybe even spend some time working my way up to 'producer' level. I might have to bring aboard some fellow Facts friends to help the infiltration process. Maybe Valentina could wine and dine WL, using subtle seduction techniques to slowly convince him he's miscounted seven, and quietly pointing out that successful contemporary shows like The Brady Bunch and Eight is Enough worked just fine on competing networks, as she sips her merlot in front of the fire. I guess that's the "Mata Hari" approach.

As long as you could make your departed love ones understand that you were coming back to see them from the future, I can't imagine anyone that wouldn't take that choice.

Later, my friend, later. First stop: 1968, and finding a way to get some grape seed extract to Dick York to heal his back. Then there wouldn't have been 2 Darrins.

Then go back into the Waback machine for 1981 or thereabouts.

I voted for the past. Barnabas and Julia traveled to the future and found Collinwood destroyed. The future is too risky.

The past! Especially to go back to the 90s.

A most worthy cause, but as you may have noticed, some of us are a bit skeptical of the healing powers of grape seed extract. Still, it is worth a shot, and if the grape seed doesn't work, we could always travel back with a skilled back surgeon. So, I'm definitely on board for your TV tinkering. Once we solve that, with a "rewriting history" win under our belt, we can fix other important TV history mistakes!

1981 is too late: Nancy basically gets "the cut" on air in "Dope", which aired on June 11, 1980. The final scene of the episode has Mrs. Garrett hugging just four girls, with Nancy, Cindy, and Molly left downstairs with Mr. Bradley. My "Mata Hari" plan will only work if we spend months or even years infiltrating Norman Lear's TV empire.

I'm going to the past. I'm fascinated with different time periods and seeing how people lived decades ago. I'd probably start with the late '60s. I love the culture of that era.

1910's-1920's Hollywood, California.
