This is pretty amazing. The studio lot when the show moved.

These are great photos and lots of cool behind the scenes info. It makes me realize how often LITB used exterior shots. Many other series, such as Norman Lear's Embassy shows, rarely used exterior scenes because Metromedia Square had no studio backlot. |

Yes, these are cool pictures--all of them. Some episodes not mentioned are identifiable.
One mystery appears in the first two photos, for me, though. That disappearing lamp post question still bugs me. In photo 1 the light is clearly not there. In photo 2 it clearly is there. Although the camera angles are different you'd still see it in photo 1. Seeing location shots on LITB, and establishing shots, doesn't help. Sometimes it's there, other times, not. It's always there in nighttime establishing shots, and most of the time isn't there during other daytime action shots. An exception is the second photo, from "School Bus." The other exceptions, in daytime, are a brief season 5 establishing shot, and a driveway backout in season 5's "Un-Togetherness." The answer probably is, it looks permanently in place, but is likely easily removed. |

I always though it was odd that the Cleaver home had and has that damaged tree in the front yard ...

That was a great site and loved looking at all those familiar houses.
