ok...i'm not 100% sure...but...

ok...

t squared - 1 divided by t to the sixth = 1

what you do is you divide the t squared by t to the sixth so that would be t cubed. then, you...wait. i have no idea how i got the rest. but i ended up getting three and i put it under the positive one (under the division sign) then you take the opposite of t to the sixth - 3 and turn it to -t to the sixth = 3. then you have four. then you divide the -1 by four and you get -4.

so your answer is

t cubed - 4

i have no idea if that's right. lol.

Okay... I know what you did, however my question is... are you allowed to do that? For EX: dont you have to leave the problem in the form that it was given? You cant just switch them into fractions.... or can you?

...But even so, that would make the answer t to the negative fourth power minus one...

Cool

Okay... so far this is what I did...

I divided t to the sixth by t to the second and got t to the fourth. t to the fourth times t to the second equals t to the 6th, thus, t to the 6th and t to the 6th turns to 0, or cancels out. then I multiplied t to the fourth by -1, which gives us - t to the fourth power. So... I'm left with 1 - t to the fourth...

T to the fourth divided by t to the second is t to the second, thus, so far, the quoetient is t to the fourth + t to the second. Um... then t to the second times t to the second is t to the fourth, and t to the second times t to the -1 equals - t squared...

-t to the fourth minus + t to the fourth is 2t to the fourth...

leaving us with 1 + 2x to the fourth - t sqaured.

My question is... does anyone know the next step? lol.

Well... just to say... if you divide 4 by 2, it can be written as 4/2 which is a fraction.... or 2 *division sign* 4.

If you're gonna solve that then you'll have to get rid of the square root sign by squaring both sides........ you prolly knew that though. i need to know the answer to this!!!!!

give me another one jenny that isn't too hard please so then I wont feel like ive forgotten everything from 9th grade.
