Da Brat
If you were young in the 90's you probably owned Da Brat's debut album Funkdafied that came out in 1994. Born Shawntae Harris Da Brat is the sister of music producer Jermaine Dupri and she became really huge in rap music with her own unique style of rap. In 1997 she released her second album Another Tantrum which was also released with a clean version of her debut album which is the only Da Brat album I got so far. It's really a shame Da Brat disappeared from music to focus on acting since she starred in Mariah Carey's Glitter but she paved the way for female rap artists today
