I like the pilot episode of the show. Do you think Willis was rude and self centered?

He was a pre-teen and kids that age are always rebellious add to the fact they have to leave their friends in Harlem affected him too.

Yes, Willis was rude and self-centered. It took him a couple of years to open up and start trusting people. Living in the 'hood had made him act like a "tough guy". I love seeing the evolution of Willis through the first few years.
