Shows that use popular music of the era are often rarely seen in reruns due to the expensive nature of having to get rid of the music or buy the rights for the music.
Maybe some shows just aren't popular. Networks like to air what's popular and that's why you constantly see shows like Andy Griffith and Mash on all the time. Some shows like Dallas require long-term commitment and must be watched in order, unlike sitcoms |
