Default Season 3 Episode 1 question.

Jackie says "she fell asleep as a cop and got shot as a trucker".

When did she fall asleep?

If I go to the Roseanne Season 3 episode "Goodbye, Mr. Right", Jackie says she got hurt because she fell down some stairs while chasing a naked perpetrator.

Also, when did she get shot?

Jackie was never shot when she was a trucker. I do believe she likely fell asleep when she was a cop. Her big injury as a cop was falling down some stairs.

Because the writers are lazy and horrible. Possibly the worst written sitcom I've ever seen. I never laugh when I watch this show. It's just coasting off the fumes of the original series.

Thanks. I actually like this show, it seems as good or better than ever.

But this does seem like a cheap lazy joke, that doesn't seem based on the facts of the history of the show.

Thanks for confirming, it was driving me crazy that I couldn't remember either of those things happening to Jackie.

If she did fall asleep as a cop, it must have been a very low key joke, a one liner, that didn't have any real impact on the show.

No thanks. I'd have to take one of those government vaccines to watch seasons 9 & 10. And I'm not talkin' about covid. Goodman and the beautiful Emma (shameless) Kenney are the stars of the show imo.

They need to bring back Bev (#BBB).

And eventually, bring back Rosanne Barr in dream sequence's.
