Default Keith's pregnant friend/classmate

I think it was the 4th season. Keith was looking for a date for a party or something. His friend greeted him at the famed taco stand I believe. She emerged from her car at least 5 months pregnant. Keith was surprised. I think she and the baby's dad had a falling out, since Keith asked about the state of their relationship before she exited the car. I was wondering if she was married, or a single mom? If the latter, that was pretty daring for that time. Since the show did broach topical issues of the day in a light way, it would have been interesting if the elder siblings were trying to help a teen parent, or talked to Shirley about her opinion of birth control.

""The Pill" is a 1975 country music song recorded by Loretta Lynn. It is one of her best known songs as well as the most controversial record of her career. The song briefly crossed over into mainstream success peaking at #70 on the Billboard Hot 100 becoming the highest-charting song on the pop chart in Lynn's solo career."

When a Hollywood TV show is dying, the producers finally allow it to get political. Or in today's language, it goes woke. And then years later the people on the show point out how "progressive" the show was by pointing to the latter episodes as evidence. In reality, the show was on the decline, and nobody was watching, and the episodes they are pointing to are awful otherwise.

A great example of this is Bewitched. All the "progressive" episodes are in the last seasons, when the show was tanking.

In those days, Hollywood didn't allow their hot commodities to be political, because they wanted to entertain the entire country, not just liberal Democrats. When the show is dying, they are less focused on it, I guess, and allow it to go political.
