There are many things we pour down the drain that can cause mayhem in household pipes,septic systems or municipal severs.

What do You do or dont pour down the kitchen drain?

So much should not go down the drains, and I put a lot less in disposal also, old bldg, old pipes. A good home remedy to keep drains cleaner is baking soda and white vinegar, good portions of both. And don't use drains for a while after you do this.

Heh someone who thinks it will grind them up. (All it might do is ruin the blades of your unit)
