You either have found the right one or you have not. What kind of hewy makes someone say I will marry you if I am going to be stationed nearby? To be honest, he should have gone to Alaska, visited Betty, and then married her once she was done with school. That way she could still have school chums and dates, but once the show was over, she could marry a good catch.
