I don't think there are any, but Dorothy was hardly in the ep where Sophia goes to Sicily. But I think they were all pretty much in every ep.

There is one episode, where all four women were hardly in, the episode where
they helped out a friends marriage. I think it was the pilot ep. for Empty Nest. I think that was one of the worst
episodes.

Yep, they all appeared in every episode. In the pilot for Empty Nest, they hardly appear, except in the very beginning, and Dorothy makes another brief appearance, as do Rose and Sophia.

I cringe everytime that Empty Nest pilot episode comes on. It is just so horrible, I see why it was completly recast and the wife has died, and the daugters are ten years older in what eventually appeared on tv. Lord why do they even show that garbage.

I absolutely hate the Empty Nest episode. It's just boring, and you can't feel invested in the characters in someone else's series. When GG finally is released on DVD, this is the episode I will never watch.

The Empty Nest episode isn't THAT bad. Yes, it's bad, but it's actually kinda decent...

Why would Golden Girls go along with such a horrible episode? They all were very smart and they probably knew that that show would not last with those people playing those characters...they probably knew the show needed a re-vamp.

This morning I saw an episode that had very little (if any) of Sophia in it. It was the episode where Rose, Blanche and Dorothy all date the soap actor when he comes to Miami to be in a play. He dates all the women in the cast, and they all "out" him at the end.

I don't recall seeing Sophia in that episode at all. Anyone else catch this? It was on 10/24 in the morning triple-shot.
