SHeDAISY, the hit recording sister trio, is slated to perform at the 4th Annual Family Television Awards, in which advertisers recognize outstanding programming for family viewing. The ceremony will air on FRIDAY, AUGUST 9 (9:00-10:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Tom Bergeron ("America's Funniest Home Videos," "Hollywood Squares") will host the awards ceremony, which will take place on Wednesday, July 31, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, but will air nine days later on ABC.

SHeDAISY, featuring sister singers Kristyn, Kelsi and Kassidy Osborn, will entertain with songs from their recently released third album, "Knock on the Sky."

Among the celebrities set as presenters at this year's event are John Ritter ("8 Simple Rules...," "Three's Company"), Tim Curry (the new "Family Affair"), Catherine Bell ("JAG") and George Lopez ("George Lopez").

In addition stars from classic family programming will appear at the awards ceremony, including classic mom Marion Ross ("Happy Days"), classic dad James Avery ("The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air") and classic kids Johnny Whitaker & Kathy Garver (Jody and Cissy on the original "Family Affair").

The Family Television Awards are an initiative of The Family Friendly Programming Forum, a group of more than 40 major national advertisers - all members of the Association of National Advertisers - that was formed to encourage the TV networks, studios, writers and producers to create and air more programs that are relevant and interesting for the whole family to view together.

Awards will be presented in eight categories: comedy, drama, movies, special series, new series, animated special, actor and actress.

The 4th Annual Family Television Awards show will be produced by dick clark productions for the fourth consecutive year.
