Peacock launches first ever game show Frogger - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

For those of you who grew up in the 80's you probably played Frogger a lot and remember the classic Seinfeld episode where George attempted to beat his Frogger score and brought the game from the arcade owner. With all that aside it has been announced that Frogger has been made into a game show exclusively to Peacock. After such video game show failures like CBS's failed Candy Crush game show it will be interesting to see how Frogger will do for Peacock since it's the first streaming game show in history. I don't know who the host of Frogger is but it will be a hit

I saw an episode of the game show version of Frogger on Peacock this morning and I can say this is the weirdest game show i've ever seen. For one thing it seems to be a cross between Double Dare and Fun House minus the question rounds and it seems that it's more like a show that Nickelodeon could've done for kids. Not to mention a bonus round that looks like something out of the computer game Zuma. It's shocking that the creators didn't study the actual Frogger game and they should've learned about Frogger a bit more before making it a game show. Damon Wayans Jr who is one of the hosts for Frogger seems okay but could be a sports commentator with the way he hosts the show. So in my mind this show won't last long and be cancelled soon enough
