Default So Reba was SOOO overprotective of Kyra but why didn’t she keep that same energy

…for Cheyenne. Cheyenne got knocked up, pregnant, special, and married all in one year. But if Kyra so much as even acknowledges the fact that boys exist, Reba suffers a stroke. So the way I see it, Cheyenne is no role model.

SUCH bad parenting.

Yep, remember how Reba reacted when Kyra brought home her new boyfriend? He was the guy with shaggy hair that hid his face.

Why do you think? She’s reacting to cheyenne getting pregnant by doubling down and making sure Kyra doesn’t get pregnant too. It’s like people aren’t even paying attention

But WHY wasn’t she using the “tough love” on Cheyenne in the first place? She waits til her daughter gets knocked up to start acting like Mother Of The Year, which is what I’m trying to find out.

She thought she was. Obviously not enough, so she doubles down for kyra.

She was thinking she did enough to prevent Cheyenne from doing it, not realizing Cheyenne thought you can only get pregnant once a month.

Amen to Reba not being hard enough on Cheyanne. She gave Cheyanne money for college at Kyra's expense and then when Kyra became more interested in the dating scene, it only got worse, especially when Brock, Reba, and Barbra spied on Kyra while she was in the movie theater with her date.

God bless you always!!!

Holly

P.S. Kyra was right when she said, "I can live with rules, but you three have to agree on them or I am the one who will suffer." To me, because the three stooges couldn't agree, I wouldn't have blamed Kyra if she had grown an "I am going to do whatever I want!" kind of attitude.

My guess is, Reba realized she was too easy on Cheyenne and that it was too late to change course, so she decided to be too hard on Kyra. It always annoyed me since Kyra showed no signs of being irresponsible.

And yes, I hated to see Kyra not go on her school trip because Reba spent the money bailing out Cheyenne who got in that position by being irresponsible with money. I wish Kyra had told Cheyenne about that when Cheyenne accused Kyra of being selfish when she moved out because of it.

^^^ Amen to Kyra never showing any signs of irresponsibility. What I hated was how hard Reba came down on Kyra during the final season when a male friend had fallen asleep on the floor of Kyra's bedroom. Everything that ended up on Kyra's plate was all because of Cheyanne and in my opinion, that wasn't fair. My only question is, if Kyra had been at Brock and Barbra Jean's house still and they had seen the guy leave their home instead of Reba's place, how would they have felt when Kyra had explained to them that nothing had happened between her and the guy.

God bless you always!!!
