The main reason why Steve Burns left Blue's Clues was because he was diagnosed with an illness but he didn't want to tell anyone the truth so Nickelodeon announced his departure saying that Steve had quit the show and was later replaced by Joe who was played by Steve's brother whose name is Donovan. But Steve Burns currently has a music career as a musician in a band at the moment. My cousin was addicted to Blue's Clues as a toddler and loved seeing every episode but it was a real shame that Steve Burns quit the show because not only was he funny but brought Blue's Clues to life and made the show work
