Default Is Disney trying to focus on Marvel and Star Wars movies rather than their own?

Lately I've noticed that Disney has developed a personality problem and seems to concentrate on Marvel and Star Wars movies than their own movies and I can't figure it out? Is it because Marvel movies seem to be a huge blockbuster for Disney and with Star Wars Disney hopes to attract a new audience to their movies. I remember when Disney used to be the king of animated movies and had classics like Cinderella Snow White Mary Poppins The Happiest Millionaire Pollyanna and others but ever since Disney launched Disney+ the only thing that Disney focuses on is cartoon series and not many animated movies anymore. Is this a sign that Disney is not gonna focus on animated movies not so much? I think ever since Tangled failed and once Moana came out Disney has suffered from an identity crisis and wants to be a stand alone company. Now with the debut of the upcoming Encanto debuting November 24th do you think Encanto will help Disney break out of it's shell and be itself again?

They became their movies when Disney bought Marvel and Star Wars.

I think the reason why Disney is going through a phase now is because ever since they bought Marvel and have a huge obsession with Star Wars too is because Disney thinks Marvel and Star Wars are the two kings in movie franchises and they think by making more Marvel and Star Wars movies they can be at the top again. I remember when Disney became king when Frozen Mania began when Frozen came out and Frozen was a blockbuster hit and when Frozen II was a disappointment it hurt Disney terribly. A second thing that made Disney have an identity crisis is that ever since they teamed up with Pixar Toy Story was a blockbuster hit and then they released A Bug's Life which was a decent hit. But if you look at recent Pixar movies the only successful hit was Finding Dory and when The Good Dinosaur came out it failed and then repeated it with Onward and Soul last year. But with Marvel Disney has become obsessed with making movie after movie of Marvel characters and shows because they think that these shows are the first step to making a movie out of the show. I wouldn't be surprised if they make a Wandavision movie or a Star Lord based movie in the future. And Disney repeats the same thing with Star Wars by making cartoon series based on Star Wars and just when you think Star Wars movies are over they release more. As I mentioned in my opening post when Disney's Encanto debuts I hope Disney outgrows this personality problem and returns to making great movies again

Hi, Bestie! It is all about the money and the fact that Disney has no new ideas. They just want to milk Marvel and Star Wars for every dime they can. What do you thinl?
