I wish they would too. I've seen AITF, and now I want to see ABP and Gloria.

Lumpy: Did you go out for anything, Dud?

Dudley: Well, I went out for football, but I got my finger stepped on, so my mother made me quit.

Eddie: Well listen-- I went out for basketball and I got my hair pulled, and my mother made ME quit.

Dudley: It's not that I was afraid of getting hurt or anything; it's just that-- well, it's kind o' hard to play the flute with a busted finger.

Definitely. I have yet to see an ABP or Gloria episode and I hope either TV Land or N@N will help us all out sometime soon.

Take care,
Tanya.

Stay Tuned for my Archie Bunker's Place Fan Fin Entitled "Untimely Moment". It basically deals with Edith's Death. Something we did not get a chance to see on screen. I normally don't write fan fics. I tried to make this one consistent to what was going on witht the show and around that time and let it tie in into the "Archie Alone" episode.

I don't think they'll ever play Gloria because I believe it only aired one season. They can't air the same 20 or 25 episodes over and over again. There might be someone who sells a tape with all the episodes but that's probably the only way that show can ever be seen again.

why not? TV LAND shoows "THE LUCY-DESI COMEDY HOUR" & that didn't have many episodes. (I forget how many-I remember, though, I was surprised when I heard how many there are). Also, about "Archie Bunkers Place"- a year ago, I e-mailed TV LAND & asked them if they plan to show it, but they said no.

Oh, I thought that a show had to do atleast four years to go into syndication. I remember a few years ago Michael J. Fox said he wanted to do atleast four years of Spin City, that way it would go into syndication. So I just assumed that you had to do a certain amount of episodes. I would love to see Gloria, I just don't think it's popular enough for any channel to play.

Yeah, and if anyone should be allowed to break tv rules, it should be Lucille Ball. She is such a legend that I think not showing everything she was in would be a huge injustice. If it wasn't for her, we probably wouldn't have gotten to see half of the great shows we've seen over the years. That's also the reason I think ABP should be back on the air. Carroll O'connor changed the course of tv history and in my opinion anything he's involved with should be seen!

Cool

Hi

A television show needs 90 eps 9generaly 4 seasons) to be LUCRATIVE in syndication, but not to go into syndication.

Hope this helps.

There were 13 eps of Lucy-Desi comedy hr, btw.
Not many, huh!

I wonder why they can't combine ABP and Gloria together? Let's say ABP was picked up by tvland and showed at noon. They could show Gloria at 12:30. Did that make any sense to anybody? Let me see if I can simplify it so it can make sense. They could call it the Archie and Gloria hour or something. ?????
