Thumbs down

Archie And The FBI is a pretty lame one.
But my least favorite is "Steffy's Dad Returns" I think that's the title-the one where he comes over and threatens to take Steffy away unless Archie pays him $1000...it was borning. And Steff's dad has got to be one of the ugliest dudes I have ever seen @ the bunker's house.

I agree. That and after Mike & Gloria had the kid, things got a little more serious on the show. I thought it went down-hill after that.

I like the Draft-Dodging/Thanks-Giving episode. It's not exactly one of my favs, but it was something needing to be said, as far as Viet Nam and it's effect on American society was concerned.

I didn't much care for the episode where Mike and Gloria tried to rekindled there relationship. I just saw this one recently and without Archie and Edith it was kind of boring. Fortunately the next episode was when Archie's brother returned which was a great one.

I dislike all episodes except:

Lionel Moves into the Neighborhood
Edith Has Jury Duty
The First and Last Supper
Cousin Maude's Visit
Edith's Problem
Sammy's Visit
Maude
The Bunkers and the Swingers
Gloria the Victim
Archie the Gambler
Henry's Farewell
Lionel's Engagement
Lionel the Live-In
The Jeffersons Move Up
Edith's Friend
Edith's Night Out
Edith's 50th Birthday (I)
Edith's 50th Birthday (II)
Edith's Crisis of Faith (I)
Edith's Crisis of Faith (II)

All Stephanie episodes especially:

Edith's Final Respects
Weekend in the Country
Edith Versus the Bank
Edith Gets Fired

Personally, I thought, after Mike and Gloria left, the series was at it's best, Archie was more laid back and relaxed. Almost all episodes that centered around Edith were fantastic. Most of the episodes where The Jeffersons had a story were also great.

So all episodes that aren't listed or don't fit the criteria above, I would vote for as the least favorite episodes.

To Boechsner,
Have you seen every episode? Because if you haven't seen every episode I don't think it's fair to say that you disliked all other episodes. You disliked all other episodes that you've seen. Have you ever seen the Draft Dodger, Mike and Gloria move, Archie and Mike locked in the store room, Edith goes through menopause and too good Edith? These are classic episodes and I was just wondering which of these episodes you've seen. What is it that you don't like about the show? I respect your opinion, i'm just wondering.

There are a few episodes I haven't seen. I should add the episode Mike and Gloria move to my list. Edith going through menopause, I do like. I should say that the majority of episodes I don't hate, just dislike. They're episodes that if nothing else is on I would watch. I have nothing against the show. But for the most part I just don't like it. I should also say that there are shows that I dislike even more then All in the Family, like Full House, Happy Days, Three's Company and Hogan's Heroes. I find it's spinoffs to be much better. The Jeffersons and Maude.

When I watch it, I just get sick of seeing and hearing Archie complain. It seems like he was never happy, to him everything seemed to be gloom and doom plus I just don't find any humor in his word jumbles, which seemed to be in almost every episode. On the other hand, the character of Edith is the best character, it's interesting to see the "2" Edith's. (Meaning the Edith from the first couple episodes and the Edith we all know.) Even in the episodes I dislike, her scenes are always great.
