I was just wondering why syndication has to edit scenes out of shows.

From what I've heard it's to make room for all those commercials. I don't know if that is true, but that's what I heard.

unfortunatly, that is true. Just to show you how much they cut, 30 years ago, a 30 minute show was 26 minutes long, now, a 30 minute show is 21 minutes!! And a 1 hour show is 44 minutes!!
