Question Gloria's Long Hair

In the early years Gloria had short hair, then she grew it out very long. Did she do that on her own or did the producers want her hair longer? If she did it on her own, I'm surprised the producer's didn't make her cut it. It was so pretty, I was hoping she grew it out even longer, back then!!

Her hair was curly, when it was short, but then, straight, when she grew it

Sally Struthers had short curly hair in films and tv shows before All in The Family. So that look must have been her original one. I agree she looks far better with it long.

Say AlanAlda Fan, since you are obviously big on him I take then you know he was in the real US Army in the 50's (though not in the real Korean Conflict) Am I correct? Do you also know (anything) about Alan Alda's current view on the fighting with the Taliban? Does he feel the US military should be involved in that or not? I'd really appreciate an answer.

All right AlanAlda Fan. A sincere thanks for answering my questions anyway. Nobody seems to be able to state what his views are on the current fighting.
