Can Someone show me how to Hook up two VCRs so I can record from another tape?

No picture today folks, I am in Ames, Iowa at a completely different computer. Sorry.

Imagine it's the one with me standing by the ford.

Take the OUTPUT cable from the machine you're PLAYING the tape on...and connect it to the INPUT terminal to the machine you're RECORDING onto.

Then run the OUTPUT from the machine you're RECORDING onto...to your TV monitor.

Make sure your TV is on the channel it needs to be when watching videos...and simply hit RECORD on the 'record' machine, and PLAY on the 'play' machine.

Yeah it works but since my VCRs are the same brand and make I gotta put them in separate places because if I hit record it records on both VCRs.
