Did Alice sometimes wear a wig?

I'm watching the reruns which can be jumbled as far as the seasons go but in some shows her hair is SO short and in others, it falls in waves to her shoulders. Hair takes time to grow - was one or more of the styles a wig?

I never thought Alice did, though I thought they all did but Alice and Vera. Flo does obviously, Belle does I'm pretty sure, after she gets her trade make style, and I think Jolene does at least some

Oh, Flo's hair and Belle's hair is a wig! I wondered how they got it like that!!!

I think maybe Belle's hair in her first few episodes when it was longer was her REAL hair, but when it becomes short it's a wig.

I saw a good pic of Polly Holliday on set with her Flo waitress uniform on but without her wig!

Sometimes I think Jolene's hair might be a wig but not sure

I've noticed the same thing. It's either a wig... or some episodes were filmed, delayed for some reason and aired out of order.

I liked Linda with short hair. It made her nose more prominent, but it looked sharp and sexy.
