Every time that Disney Channel debuts a sitcom it seems that new stars are born and become very marketable and I have never figured it out? Is it because Disney Channel gives new celebrities a big contract to do sitcoms and hope they expand their horizons or is it a way for Disney to attract new talent? Take for example when the High School Musical series came out the movie introduced stars like Corbin Bleu and Vanessa Hudgens and Lucas Gabreel and they became very famous for Disney but now you don't even hear about the High School Musical stars much anymore except for Zac Efron who moved on to do movies. Another thing that Disney Channel started a habit of doing is not only making the new stars star in movies and sitcoms but also gives them singing careers and having them release albums and promote them on movie soundtracks. Take for example when Disney Channel launched Good Luck Charlie the actress Bridgit Mendier also became a singer and released a lone album and it tells me that these music contracts are gifts from Disney Channel. The final thing is that Disney Channel likes to promote stars then place them in more sitcoms and movies and never get heard from again. Take for example when Stuck In The Middle debuted Jenna Ortega became one of Disney Channel's biggest stars and then went on to be a cartoon voice actress. Another star was the late Cameron Boyce and he was a star until his death in 2019 and the same thing with Ricky Ullman when he debuted on the sitcom Phil Of The Future because after the show ended Ricky was never seen on TV again. If your future is to be a Disney Channel star on a sitcom you should be promoted a lot and be known for your talent

Disney Channel is a moneymaker, the kids love their "TNBC" type sitcoms. One of the few places where "traditional" sitcom format is thriving.
