Default Inconsistent Opposites Judging on Password Plus
Tonight dog was accepted as a clue for cat. But army and navy were ruled opposites. Also, rhyming words like fumble and bumble that are practically the same should not be allowed.

Because "dog" and "cat" do not have true opposites the way "yes/no" and "hot/cold" are.

Tom Kennedy explained this on one of his P+ shows, though I don't remember the actual puzzle.
