I thought Linda Lavin was an above average looking woman. There were times on the show when she looked better and times where she looked worse.
Best: Dark hair, long (hair down). Short hair looked very good on her too. Less make up, fuller eyebrows. Worst: Highlighted hair, early 80's poodle perm (ugh!). Plucked eyebrows to the point they were almost invisible (what was she thinking?). Too much make up, especially rouge. |

Seasons 6 and after, Linda's hair styles were horrible. The short perm was the worst and the highlights were atrocious. She looked her best in seasons 1, 2 and 3 with the longer, flowing, normal looking black hair, less make up and no ridiculous eyebrow tweezing.

I will have to take note of the different eyebrows though.I never really noticed. When I watch Alice now, I'll remember to check out the difference from early to later seasons !

I liked her shorter hairstyle in the later (Jolene) years of the show.

I believe this is from Season 1: Linda's cheekbones are an attractive feature of her pretty face, looking great. Her dark hair is nice and looks very natural. I was just looking over a widow lady around my age at my church this past week, and imagined how much better she would look if she dyed back to her very dark color -- instead of the weird reddish color she'd gone to. |

Seasons 2 and 3 was her best hair styles IMO... When I think of Alice I think of her with the shoulder length dark hair.
LOL I remember when I was a kid and first saw Alice's ultra short hair for the first time in the later seasons, and I didn't recognize her as Alice |

Whenever I "think" of Alice it's with her hairstyle from the early seasons also. She looked really hot.

Here's the longer hair length I like for Linda. This partially-
pulled back style is absolutely beautiful: Love her dark hair, she's hot: Very nice body for Linda I will add, her chest is practically perfect.

I don't think she ever looked bad. I really love how the theme song changed each season and she also changed her look.
My least favorite is the perm. However that's looking back. I remember those perms we very popular in the very early 80s. My mom had hair just like that. |

I liked about all her looks except for the SUPER short hair of the final years. It works on some people, I just didn't think it suited her as much
