If you watch TV today have you ever noticed that the commercials for household cleaning products are very different today and lack the charm that they used to in the 50's and 60's? Because if you look at commercials for household cleaning products today they seem very different now. I remember when the commercials for household cleaning products where very simple and were full of joy. Another thing I noticed about these commercials is the lack of mascots being featured in them and it used to be that the mascot would help sell the product a lot. Take for instance I remember seeing Mr. Clean being featured a lot in Mr. Clean commercials during the 80's and 90's but if you look at Mr. Clean commercials today he is no longer featured in them. I do wish cleaning product commercials would use mascots in them again because they are so cool. But in the years ahead I think we'll be seeing household cleaning commercials adopt a new image in the future

I agree LaBestia. The commercials have also become TMI. The Charmin commercials with the bears have turned into potty humor, literally. I liked it better when Mr. Whipple told us it was squeezably soft. That's all we needed to know. I will not even start on the feminine hygiene and razor commercials.
