In 2005 CBS teamed up with designer Tommy Hilfiger to create an exciting new reality show called The Cut. In The Cut teams of contestants had to do fashion based challenges for a prize of having their very own fashion line and the chance to work with Tommy Hilfiger. At the end of each episode contestants had to face Tommy Hilfiger and report to him about their score on each challenge but if two contestants did not do well Tommy would ask them to "step into the pit" to be voted off and the contestant who was voted off would be told "You are out of style please take the runway" by Tommy Hilfiger. Despite a cool reality show The Cut only ran for one season but the winner was a guy named Chris Cortez and had The Cut been renewed for a second season CBS would've had a winner on their hands. Believe it or not it was this reality show that inspired me to wear Tommy Hilfiger clothing and carry Tommy Hilfiger purses which I still have today

Hi, Bestie! I remember the cut. It was a show like The Apprentice but for fashion people. It was a pretty good show. Too bad it failed. Do you think they should do it again?
