Mattel Olympic Skater Barbie Doll commercial with Tara Lipinski

In 1998 during the time of the Winter Olympics Mattel debuted Olympic Skater Barbie Doll who with her partner Olympic Skater Ken Doll could perform skating moves by pressing a switch on the doll's back. To honor the release of the doll Mattel released a special commercial but what makes this commercial special is that figure skater Tara Lipinski was featured in the commercial as well as the back of the Olympic Skater Barbie doll box. And with Tara Lipinski to promote this doll through this commercial and being mentioned on the box probably helped Mattel sell a lot of these dolls as well as helping Tara Lipinski win her first gold medal.
