So, at 2:04, I presume that is a view of the air-conditioned room where the films and, later, tapes were culled from? Or was it?

Why does the floor look like a crucifix?

I resurrected this topic again at the Lost Media Wiki to no current response, and included a still from that video showing the cross in the floor:

What in the world is that thing and what purpose does it serve? I thought it might have been part of a forklift or pallet mule.. but it looks like a beveled, crooked cross embedded in the floor?!!

Is that the "vault" room or a holding area at Viacom?

Also, does anyone know if any of those kinescopes survive intact? I'd read elsewhere that most of the films had deteriorated past the point of re-scanning or any other use, so any future "remastering" would have to come from the last known tape transfers from roughly the mid-90's.

I know a few copies, film cans with the CBS logo and info stickers and inserts have been Ebay'd in the past few years and went for several hundred clams each. So some complete shows must still be around?
