I keep getting texts from 55404 and I can't get them to STOP!

I'm getting pissed about it...what the **** do I do?

What is 55404, zip code? I have no interest in texting, emailing is plenty for this gal...I don't need the texting addiction.

Ignore it and eventually they will stop !

It's a "short code" that somebody is using as a marketing ploy. Likely started when you "opted in" to some promotion.

Hope the following is useful:

Texting "HELP" to a short code causes the short code service to return a message with terms and conditions, support information – consisting of either a toll-free phone number or email address at a minimum – and other information from the leaseholder of the short code. A user can opt-out from receiving any further messages from a short code service by texting "STOP", "END", "QUIT", "CANCEL", or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to the short code; after doing so, one final message confirming the opt-out is sent

Gotta have a full 10 digit # in order to "block". Can't block a short code.

But like on email you can block just "55404" anywhere in the header which is nice...

Cell phones are garbage, IMO...that's the mistake Mr Cleveland made.

I did block the bastards...but I got a call from a ***** who insulted me!
