Default Two Ralph questions

Yes, I know this may be the 50th time i've said thiis but Ralph is , I think the best charcter on the hsow, and I have two questions

What was the first joke Ralph said on the show?

Default That's a good one

I do know Potsie was the first one to tell a joke on Happy Days.

I thought it was maybe Ralph, but oh well, I'm as big a Potsie fan as I am a Ralph fan, so that helps, I only started watching HD on August 9,2001, and I did not have TV Land in January, but did in Feb. ( just when they took off HD on Feb. 25) I now watch it everyday thsi summer, I can't wait till the first and second season episodes. I have seen some, but not all, like iv'e seen the one where Rich gets drunk like 3 times, once on TV Land ( when i was on vacation in Jan.) and twice on Hallmark channel, same for the first episode, anyway, back to the subject of Ralph stuff, I'm glad to know this, I wonder if they will do to HD what they did with The Simpsons ( a DVD of a whole season), but not every year, like every few months maybe

Hey RPRF! Yeah, I Happy Days is the BEST SHOW! Lucky for you, you get TVLand though! (My cable provider wont get it til November--grrr). Ive been watching Happy Days since 7th grade, but didnt start religiously watching it (no lie, its an OBSESSION lol) until 8th grade. But then junior year they took it away yadda yadda yadda...but that was in 2000. Anyways for your question. I personally, dont remember the first actual JOKE he had made, hes just always funny! Ralphs my 3rd favorite charachter. As for the *I still got it* that started 3rd season (going live).

Oh and for those jokes, I been doing the episode research, I know in episode 7 Fonzie Drops In when Fonzie re-enrolls back into school, Ralph made a lot of jokes in class.

Oh and RPRF-here is some good advice for you that you should def. take seriously if you are BIG Happy Days fan! As soon as Happy Days starts with episode 1 on TVland, start taping it!! Because you know Nick@Nite is--starts showing a show, and then BAM! Its gone next week, so do what I did and tape it ALL the time. Even have duplicates and specials and stuff, for easy reference. Also do what I didnt (which I am now currently working on), mark each tape with an episode guide for fast finding instead of going through tape after tape to find that ONE episode (hmm...sounds like someone I know! ). I have over 100 tapes of the show and off all the marathons and specials that they did, but most of the tapes are unmarked or marked incorrectly! Good Luck with your Ralph questions! When I start watching the 3rd season on my tapes, I stay tuned in for his *ISGT* quote.

Remember the episode where Joannie & Fonzie enter a 14-hour dance marathon? Ralph sings a number that sounds like a slowed down version of Have Negila (sp?) I just found out the name of the number is "the Anniversary Song" & it was done originally by Guy Lombardo in the 40's. I always thought Ralph had a great voice & wondered why Don Most never made a career out of singing. I loved his laugh.

How can they not show the first episode?? Its different from every other one! I can see how Nick@Nite never showed the post 1980's b/c Rich/Ralph were AWOL, but the 1st episode? C'mon! Also, I dont know about TVLAND, but on N@N, they never aired the holiday episodes until that holiday came up. If the episode had a holiday in the background (Like the episode titled Joanies Weird Boyfriend) it would show it. In that episode Joanie wants to join the Red Devils. The background of it though was that it was St. Patricks Day.

Oh, and I got those Ralph jokes from the one when Fonzie was in class. I found that episode when I was looking for the one when Rich and Pots went to the strip show looking for that trivia answer-which I never did find by the way! Must be a trick question or something!!
