If you ever attended a fancy dinner in your life chances are you might've had After Eights for dessert. After Eight Chocolates were dark chocolates with a mint filling similar to York Peppermint Patties and had some commercials circa 1970's. When you watch the commercials for After Eight Chocolates you can see how nice and mannerly people used to act and how fancy parties used to be. After Eights are still sold today but watch these commercials to get a peek at how elegant parties were during the times

My mom wants to try eating some After Eight mints after I told her about these commercials. And to be honest I had never known about After Eight mints before seeing these commercials. And when I researched commercials for After Eight mints there were a whole bunch of them in German but I did find some English commercials for After Eight mints that aired in the UK in the 70's but the American After Eight mints commercials did not debut until the 80's
