Those of you who watch Jeopardy! regularly know the guest host who started two days ago is Dr. Sanjay Gupta. Tonight my mom had a Facebook post about him, but for a different reason. She highly recommends his Keep Sharp Build a Better Brain at Any Age book, says his book is easier to understand than other books on the brain she has read. Mom says it also gives her hope for anyone with Parkinson's like her, hope for those with Alzheimer's, and hope for anyone with a neurobiological condition. She started reading this book a couple of days ago, I thought she might have timed it with his Jeopardy! stint. But she has not seen any of this week's Jeopardy! yet, will definitely be watching now that I told her he is currently guest hosting. As far as his hosting goes, I have watched Monday and Wednesday night, did not see Tuesday. He is right in the middle of the pack for me, not on the level of my top 5 guest hosts (Ken Jennings, Mayim Bialik, Buzzy Cohen, Anderson Cooper, and Mike Richards), but easily better than my bottom four (Aaron Rodgers go away!, Katie Couric, Savannah Guthrie, and Dr. Oz). I would also give Dr. Gupta the edge over Bill Whitaker.

I watched one episode of Sanjay Gupta hosting Jeopardy. And I'm sorry I'd have more fun watching paint dry. I don't think he's very good at it, and that's my opinion.
