Eek Suspended from Facebook?

I posted something about a ketchup recipe...and Facebook labeled it spam!

This was the 2nd time in one year that I got flagged on Facebook!

Will I be in Facebook Jail soon?

Facebook glitches like that sometimes. I’ve been to Facebook jail countless times, with several 30-day stints, and have in recent weeks erroneously been dinged a few times for spam that wasn’t spam without a return trip to the Zuck-klink.

Just dispute those spam notices. You should be fine.

Just curious . . did you post a Ketchup recipe? or did you say something bad about the recipe? Either way all that about a Ketchup recipe? I don't know much about FaceBook.

Time to leave facebook for good for Privacy and political reasons. I used to have a facebook account two years ago and deleted it permanently due to the craziness over vaccines that made me leave.

I agree that Facebook sucks ass. I had a bad experience on there last year that I'm still furious about, and because of that experience I have abandoned the thought of trying to develop friendships/relationships online and I no longer have on line private chats anywhere with anyone. I have encountered too many "rotten apples" online and had several bad experiences, I'm fed up with being disrespected and rejected so I keep to myself now and I'm better off that way. The only reason I haven't cancelled my FB account is because one of the weather forecasters in the area here does live videos if rough weather is forecast and I want to be able to see those videos.

I very much disagree. I have had a Facebook account since 2009 and still use it, no plans on stopping. I like keeping up with family and friends' posts (am thrilled Lori Singer recently accepted my friend request), and pages of products/celebrities I like. And I really like their games, have played several different ones through the years. Cookie Jam, Farkle, Magic Cat Match, Pudding Pop, and Cookie Jam Blast are my current favorites. In Farkle I have won over 8,000 pro games playing on Facebook, and in Cookie Jam I am currently on level 4,067. Now Twitter, there is a dumb site. I had an account for a few months last year but hated the layout, that account is now deleted.

I hate FB but it has allowed me to re-connect with former classmates and co-workers.

I tried Twitter a few times but ended up not liking it. I am friends on Facebook with one of my former high school teachers though.

People who expect Facebook to be "informative" as a news source, are fooling themselves.

I was extremely active from 2008-2015, mostly for the games. I used to laugh about co-workers and acquaintances bawling about the "misinformed" adversaries they would encounter over volatile issues.

Facebook is a place where people ( with like-minded issues) go to pat each other on the back, and scream till they are blue in the face with the other side.

Nothing productive comes from it. It is the digital age's equivalent to the old ladies knitting party.

And after several years, the games get rather stale, as well.

If course, on-line forums are similar in the "love 'em or hate 'em" nature of debating issues, but at least forums have some semblance of organization. With facebook the lack of organization (causes/allows) thoughts and ideas to disappear into the void of the timeline

At one time, I had 22 different facebook accounts. I did it mostly so that I could spike the ball on the social aspect of the games.

But, I put considerable effort into creating credible characters, from a variety of ethnic backgrounds. I went so far as to research what schools were located in the towns of foreign nations that I claimed as my birthplace home. And similar for my claimed employer and city of current residence.

The friend requests that I got for some "faux" characters were quite interesting, particularly the two that I assigned Arabic backgrounds to. I suspected some of those requests might be from our own government's intelligence operations trying to fish for trouble.

Bottom line to all the suspending, banning, infractions on all the outlets publishing other's info, is a Major Form of Censoring to keep so much info from so many trying to get OTHER info out there. I have a group of doctors I've followed for many yrs and all during the last 17 months or so, and they talk about how they have been banned from various sites,,,all Censorship. We have one great MD on our local radio every day and thank goodness she continues to be on and spreading what I believe are Truths.

So many I'd like to censor and can't touch them.
