Why did Nabisco do away with the classic pinging logo in commercials? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

From the 70's to the 90's Nabisco used their classic "Nabisco" then a pinging logo appeared and this commercial logo is one of my favorites and I wonder why they quit using it in their commercials today? Was it to give Nabisco a new image for their new generation of people? Or did they just retire it? That logo was so fun to see during Nabisco commercials and they should bring it back for Nabisco's commercials today
Why did they do this?

Hi, Bestie! I don't know why they dropped it. I will guess that someone thought it was too old fashioned. Pretty dumb if you ask me. As the saying goes, "If it aint broke, don't fix it"
