The 90s had a lot of good shows. First off I will start with a weekday sitcom/game show schedule, then a drama schedule. Shows with a star after them I have not seen. Double starred Debt I liked seeing on vacation with Supermarket Sweep on Lifetime. But I have not seen Debt since its original run, would be nice if that joined Supermarket Sweep on BUZZR. Step by Step I wasn't a big fan of before. But that was before I became a Staci Keanan fan from My Two Dads. I thought about including Everybody Loves Raymond but its popularity zenith was in the 2000s.

A few questions:
1. Regarding Frasier, 7th Heaven, and The Practice: Wouldn't you want to air just the seasons that aired in the 1990s, or their entire runs, or the seasons you like? 2. Why cut off Boy Meets World at season 5? Wasn't the whole 7-year run of that one in the 1990s? I'm guessing you must hate the college seasons of BMW. 3. Most of the original Regis-Philbin-hosted Who Wants to Be a Millionaire was in the 2000 decade (started regularly on January 2000 after airing a special in August 1999). Why include that? 4. Any alternatives for this fantasy channel besides the shows you already listed? |

You are right, I don't care for the college seasons of Boy Meets World at all. Only watchable episode there is when Ben Savage's real life brother Fred guest starred. It is like they got a whole new set of writers, wasn't funny any more. I also couldn't stand Rachel and how they dumbed down Eric. Eric wasn't a total buffoon in the first several seasons. I don't mind dumb characters like Lowell on Wings, Bull on Night Court, and Waldo on Family Matters. But they were that way from the start, it was character assassination with Eric. Who Wants to be a Millionaire? I am not sure how long the Regis version lasted. But it wasn't too long as ABC's five nights a week schedule burned it out fast and gave Regis a premature end. Since it did start in 1999 and didn't go much into the 2000s I still put Regis Millionaire here. Now the Meredith syndicated version I would definitely consider an all 2000s production as it lasted many seasons with her. As for Frasier and 7th Heaven, a large chunk of Frasier aired in the 90s. It's like other shows straddling two decades, I wouldn't put them in the lesser decade but unless I really hate some seasons the whole thing deserves to air. On 7th Heaven I forgot to exclude the final season. It should have remained cancelled when the WB shut down, season 11 was awful. I never saw Everwood but feel bad for its fans as 7th Heaven took what would have been Everwood's renewal. While it aired a bit more in the 2000s, I would definitely consider 7th Heaven a 90s representative. |
