North Carolina ( well actually the station is part of the Virginia Beach tv market ) has a station called "SKY4" and they show many old shows. I Love Lucy, Mork & Mindy, Cheers, and others
including Desilu's classic The Untouchables which they air in prime time.

My market is Raleigh, NC. Here's a line-up of the stations here showing reruns:

Too Close for Comfort (scheduled irregularly)
Married With Children
King of the Hill
Grace Under Fire
The Wayans Bros.
Moesha
Seinfeld
Screen Gems Network (Bewitched/Jeannie package)

The ABC and NBC stations have no old shows in reruns there. The NBC station used to have Gomer Pyle, USMC on weekends several years ago, and it had Hill Street Blues before it was a network affiliate.

If I were programming these stations I'd get rid of infomercials and show some older programs.

Here are some shows that used to be on my stations from the old days (starting with the late 1970s) Some of them I distinctly recall watching, others I got from old TV Guides of my market. This is by no means a complete list, and I have only lived in the area since 1984.

WRAL:
Andy Griffith (1970s-present)
I Love Lucy (1970s)
The Brady Bunch (1970s)
Good Times (1979-1987)
What's Happening (1986-1988)
Sanford & Son (1978-1987)
Webster (1987-1989)
Punky Brewster (1988-1990)
Small Wonder (1988-1989)
Who's the Boss? (1989-1993)
ALF (1990-1995)
M*A*S*H (late 1980s/early 1990s)
Married with Children (in late night slot, 1991-1993)
Cosby Show (1988-1992)
Golden Girls (1992-1996)
Roseanne (1994-1995, then moved to newly formed sister station WRAZ)

WTVD (ABC-11):
Six Million Dollar Man (late 1970s/early 1980s)
Diff'rent Strokes (1984-1988)
Three's Company (1983?-1988)
The Jeffersons (1981 until mid to late 80s)
M*A*S*H (early 80s)
Alice (early 80s)

WPTF (NBC-28, which later became WRDC and UPN)
Lost in Space (late 1970s)
Star Trek (several years in the 1970s and 1980s)
Soap (1981-?)
What's Happening (1981-1985?)
WKRP in Cincinnati (1982-late 1980s)
Cheers (1987-1995)
Family Ties (1987-early 1990s)
Night Court (1989-1993)
Sanford and Son (1992-1995)
Designing Women (1992-1994)

WLFL (Fox until 1998)
Barney Miller (1982-1985)
One Day at a Time (1982-1985)
Gimme a Break (1985-1988)
Gomer Pyle (late 1980s)
Facts of Life (1986-1990)
Silver Spoons (1988-1989)
The Fall Guy (late 1980s)
The A-Team (late 1980s)
Growing Pains (1989-1992?)
227 (1991-1993)
Bewitched (late 1980s/early 1990s)
The Brady Bunch (1989-1990)
Star Trek (1990-1991, I have many tail ends of Star Trek episodes on my Simpsons tapes I recorded off of network airings)
Full House (1991-1995)

WKFT:
The Jeffersons (early 1990s)
WKRP in Cincinnati (early 1990s)
I think this station may have aired The Partridge Family in the early 1980s and Bewitched at some time, but I am not sure.

I miss the days when stations would show old reruns. I wish they'd get rid of the talk shows and infomercials and show either old reruns or local-interest programming.

Question

If anyone here lived in or near Charleston, West Virginia, maybe
someone could fill me in on programs that aired on WVAH TV 23
before it become a FOX Network affiliate(I think around 1988?)
