-Considering Me TV has Me TV & Decades & Me TV plus & Heroes & Icons Do you feel Current Me TV should be Similar to 2009? Or will that hurt the product?

To be honest, I don’t exactly like 2009 MeTV’s format, too many recent shows and paid programming, but I will give kudos to the fact that’s it’s diverse, and not repetitive, sitcom here, drama there, etc. I like that idea better than drama, drama, drama, western, western, western, western, and a frequent sitcom here and there.

One thing I think MeTV could do to improve is cutting off shows like M*A*S*H, The Andy Griffith Show, Hogan’s Heroes, and Perry Mason. That ratings stuff is pure bullsh*t. No one watches those shows over and over again for years and years. No one’s that dedicated. Not even the couch potato demographic that are obsessed with TV Land watches those shows that much. Another thing I think they could do is switch up the overnight schedule with the dramas. I would like to see The Streets Of San Francisco, Cannon, and Barnaby Jones instead of the same old Mannix, Cannon, and Barnaby Jones. That needs improvement as well. Also, I would like to see the westerns cut down a bit. I was glad to see them cut down earlier this year when the early westerns left, but I wouldn’t mind if some others got the shaft too. Add a few hours of sitcoms before Sci-Fi Saturday Night. Sundays need to be improved too. Saved By The Bell is okay, but it’s time for it to go bye bye, along with the other shows constantly overplayed. Also, I’m getting sick of Gilligan’s Island. Okay, we get it, the castaways took a three hour tour, THREE HOUR, not three DECADE. I wouldn’t mind to see that gone either. Bring back Laverne & Shirley and The Lucy Show for Sundays, return Happy Days on Sundays, and add Here’s Lucy along with the others as well. The Love Boat can get it big time too. And don’t forget Columbo. How many episodes of that are they gonna play before every viewer will be able to memorize every single line? Demolish that and bring back the Last Laughs. I miss Mary Tyler Moore, Bob Newhart, Rhoda, Cheers, Taxi, The Odd Couple, Get Smart, Sledge Hammer!, The Phil Silvers Show, and Car 54, Where Are You? I’m not that crazy about The Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, and Night Gallery either. And to make matters worse, with the recent announcement of Monk, that’s another unfortunate sign of things going south.

I am a Perry Mason freak !! I agree about Mash, Andy Griffith and Hogan's heroes ( can't believe people want to watch them so much over and over) ! But I can't get enough of Perry Mason ! I LOVE that show , but being on at 9AM on ME I don't usually watch it there, but on FETV where it is on later !!

I don't have a comment about MeTV's schedule from 2009, however I do like their current late night/overnight schedule of drama and suspense shows. Perry Mason, Twilight Zone, Alfred Hitchcock, Mannix, Cannon, Barnaby Jones. Pretty good stuff.

I have the complete series DVD's of Mannix, Cannon, and Barnaby Jones. I just recently bought seasons 1 thru 5 DVD's of Alfred Hitchcock Presents. As of right now, I don't have any DVD's of Perry Mason or Twilight Zone.

The schedule is a lot more diverse and interesting than what they are putting out in 2021. The only tv shows seemingly out of place in their scheduling are Scrubs and The Bernie Mac Show.

MeTV has grown extremely stale in the weekday 7-10 pm schedule. MASH, Andy Griffin Show, Gomer Pyle, Green Acres and Hogan's Heroes is beyond played out. Like another poster said I don't totally buy the ratings rhetoric MeTV throws out concerning their lack of weekday evening schedule change.

MeTV's overnight schedule (Mannix, Cannon, Barnaby Jones) has run it's course as those shows full seasons episodes have been repeated at least 5 times each. Why not switch it up with something like The Rockford Files, Quincy M.E. & The Streets Of San Francisco?

Also, the annual Summer Of MeTV program changes has become less than minimal in 2021. MeTV added Monk to their summer schedule which is a tv show from 2002. How is Monk classic tv?

I wish I could have access to all the MeTV shows that they are available to schedule but do not schedule then I could give a more educated answer as to what they should change up and where in their schedule.

I miss the 2017 Summer Of Me with Petticoat Junction, My Three Sons, Battlestar Galactica, Swamp Thing, ALF, Remington Steele, etc., the weekday afternoon sitcoms, and the Sunday afternoon schedule with the Mary Tyler Moore/Rhoda block.

At that time METV had 2 channels in Chicago. The METV schedule that you showed and Me Too where all the drama and western series were on.

Yes but the modern shows from the 2000s & Paid Programming should not count and it should feature more variety of programming from the 60s, the 70s & the 80s

This schedule is way better than what it is now. It’s gone down the drain. Same lame stale schedule for years. And with the addition of Monk, it will continue to get worse.

Don’t like the 2009 schedule, it’s not diverse at all, it’s 100% sitcoms! I much prefer the format now with the mix of sitcoms, dramas, westerns and mysteries.

I wish Me/Decades could get all those Screen Gems shows back (Bewitched, Jeannie, Gidget, Monkees, Partridge, etc) as I don't feel they are given the right presentation on Antenna. I'd also like to see the missing seasons of Donna Reed.

well, one thing they DEFINITELY need to get rid of is MASH-either get rid of it or cut it back to one episode a week and move it to a different time slot; 1 or 1:30 am on Saturdays or Sunday afternoons at 3 or 3:30 would be good.
