Lightbulb Saw Todd's debut on Y&R

I recorded today's (Fri 7/12) episode of Y&R. I had never seen this soap before, but I was curious to see Todd. I shuttled through most of the episode without seeing him. However, in the last 10 minutes of so, I finally saw him. It was sort of weird, he was sitting in a bar and the bartender girl kept calling him by his character name, Juice. They didn't really "introduce" him. This got me thinking that this was NOT his introduction. ...Oh, wait, I think I figured it out! lol. That's right, I read that the CHARACTER had been around for a while, its just that TODD was making HIS debut as the character. I assume today was indeed TODD's debut on the show. In the one scene that he was in, I thought he did a pretty good acting job. He played sort of a hotheaded guy who is after some other guy for stealing his girlfriend or something. I hope they develop this character and Todd gets more air time -- although that was probably the last time I will ever watch Y&R. lol

It sounds like Todd did a good job. Hopefully, the press will forget about his past if he does a really good job on Y & R. I want to scream everytime I hear "Todd Bridges has had his fair share of run-ins with the law." Todd has cleaned up his act, so this annoys me to death.

I wanna see that now too. I'm hoping they'll show it on cable soon because I know they used to show it.

i saw it too i think, i hate soap operas though they are boring and dumb to me. but i got a question about tapings. since a show like young and the restless comes on everyday, how do they prepare it so they can do that? sitcom shows only come on once a week so that gives the show time to prepare but soap operas are on everyday.

Thanks for the compliment Bonnie.

To your question SoFl123 - I think it is really demanding to film soaps because there are so many lines, but I do think that they try to spread out how much characters appear in one show or week. They also have a lot of different characters so even though it seems like they are in the show a lot, any one character isn't really seen that much. I don't know for sure though. Someone else may have more insight.

I didn't know that was Dana at first either. When I went into danaplato.net, I saw that picture though. Dana was so cute when she was a little girl.

I watch Young & The Restless on the regular so i was surprised when i heard Todd was gonna be on there. It's good that somebody gave him a chance cause he hasn't had a acting job since Different Strokes. I saw Young & The Restless today & his name is Juice. He was trying to rob Olivia, Drucilla, Drucilla's daughter & Neil. Neil looks so bad on here, he needs a haircut & a shave. Neil punched Todd in the face today & Todd took off running. Todd didn't even swing back at Neil, what a coward. How old is Todd now?

I think he meant main roles where he is well known. Willis is his best known character. It's kind of like Adam West. You say Adam West and you immediately say Batman because he hasn't had any killer parts after Batman. Todd may have been on other things, but his Willis role was just the best known role.
