A Current Affair
With TV entertainment newsmagazines becoming more popular in the 80's thanks to Entertainment Tonight another TV entertainment newsmagazine made the scene and that was A Current Affair. Hosted by Maureen O'Boyle A Current Affair focused on celebrity gossip and the latest Hollywood happenings and interviews from celebrities such as Michael Jackson Whitney Houston Kevin Costner Jeff Goldblum Sharon Stone and other celebrities A Current Affair was the second in command to Entertainment Tonight for better celebrity stories. Although cancelled due to the debut of Extra A Current Affair was a great show for the inside scoop on Hollywood

Hi, Bestie! I have not thought about that show in a long time. I guess it was a pioneer of the gossip show. Thanks for reminding me. I will look for clips from it and compare with the gossip shows of today.
